Making a Difference - our Community Commitment

Our Brands are not only committed to providing a fast fashion fix, we also deliver a commitment to the communities we are part of in the UK and to those communities worldwide who impact on our business.

TOPSHOP CHARITY SUPPORT

It is not just the collaborative initiatives that closely link the brand to the design community in which it belongs; Topshop's team often offer both informal and structured advice and help on everything from production to business plans.

Topshop has a number of charitable partnerships we work with on an ongoing basis. Working with Traid, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, Starlight and Peta. Previous partnerships have included Women's Aid and Refuge, Terrence Higgins Trust, Charity: Water, NSPCC and Make a Wish.

TOPMAN CHARITY SUPPORT

Topman is dedicated to supporting male specific health issues and ways of now integrating this across the globe.

Since 2001, the brand has worked in the UK with Everyman, a campaign run by The Institute of Cancer research aimed to stamp out male testicular cancer. Projects to raise awareness of this issue have included the sale of t-shirts designed by top indie bands including the Kaiser Chiefs, Maximo Park and Boy Kill Boy. In addition, Topman supports Calm, a charity dedicated to the issue of male suicide as well as homelessness charity Crisis.

FASHION FOOTPRINT

We take our social responsibility extremely seriously. We were one of the first high street fashion retailers to establish a Code of Conduct that all suppliers working with our businesses must adhere to. The Code was reviewed and updated in early 2007 and the latest version communicated to suppliers and other relevant groups. Also in 2007 the Group launched Fashion Footprint - a major new initiative to ensure all our ethical and environmental activities are managed, monitored and coordinated across all our businesses. Fashion Footprint brings together ten key areas of activity under working parties established to draw up and deliver policies in key areas of activity; from energy efficiency to supplier ethics, and from transport to charitable giving. We are also committed to ensuring that we meet our responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act and work hard to make our goods and services accessible to all.
