It’s no secret that 2018 was packed with its fair share of gloom. The World Cup happened (need we say more), the globe was torn in two over debates of whether a 0.5 second clip said “yanny” or “laurel” and the ‘Punk Turtle’ that went viral for having the ability to breathe through its genitals became the 30th listed evolutionarily distinct and globally endangered reptile.
2019 is our year, surely. To make sure we fill it with plenty of cool things – at least enough to drown out the nonsense – we got the low-down from Design My Night to bring you 10 things to do this year.
Size matters? Not at this London bar. The Brig is only accessible via a four-digit code entered on the right door on the right street in just the right place. This hidden nook only has space for 4 thirsty guest meaning you’ll not only enjoy the chitter chatter of chums alone, but your private bartender will also knock up impressive drinks to a playlist of your choosing; talk about bespoke.
The popularity of craft beer reached an all-time high in 2018, and CBR 19 (Craft Beer Rising) know it. Here you’ll find unlimited pizza and prosecco whilst throwing yourself headfirst into a selection of ball pits that are home to more than a million (yes, a million) balls in total.

Hailed as one of London’s most unique escape room experiences, evade a brain-eater and solve puzzles at Trapped In A Room with a Zombie and make sure get out before you become zombie-chow.

Head to this plucky little spot to polish off bottomless wings for a pocket-friendly £12.
