Normally Christmas shoppers are nervous, sweaty wrecks on the verge of tears, but there are those in London who maintain their style credibility in the face of stampeding Black Friday shoppers and hour long lines. We sent out photographer Joe Harper into the urban jungle of Central London to document these rare, well dressed beasts.
Never has there been a time where you need a bag more. 5p charge? You’ll get that coin over our cold, jolly corpse. Avoid confrontation with soulless cashiers and be clued up on this season’s must-have accessory by investing in a canvas satchel, leather backpack or roomy holdall bag.

Camel has been this season’s key colour by a longshot – and it’s not dying down. The beauty of it is that it can be dressed down for the day with a workwear shirt and dressed up for a Christmas party with a retro roll neck for a nod to Del Boy’s iconic look in Only Fools & Horses. Lovely jubbly.
