You’ve got the ticket, now you need the clothes. Let’s get that sorted by dressing you in the style of the greatest bands hitting the festival circuit this summer…
Light wash denim jackets and tie dye tees – a big look at Woodstock and a huge look this summer. If you’re heading to a warmer festival, opt for a cut off denim jacket and a tie dye vest instead. Groovy, man. Even if it’s not the sunniest place in the world, when has wearing a cool pair of sunglasses in a dark and rainy place ever stopped a rock star before?
A leather jacket must be worn at a festival, it’s practically law. It’ll keep you looking cool through the day and warm through the night while you slur your way through Mr Brightside at half 4 in the morning. Team up with a pair of Converse, the classic hi top shoe. The great thing about them is they look even better dirty. Wear a bright and bold short sleeve underneath, just in case it gets too hot and you need to show off what’s underneath.
These guys are known for wearing their boiler suits. Well, the world hasn’t caught on to that trend yet, but there’s always the onesie! Keep yourself warm in your festival tent with a Topman onesie, in styles such as patterned, plain and tie dye!
Festivals are all about wearing crazy outfits that you wouldn’t necessarily wear on the outside world for fear of being institutionalised. Floral shirts, bright colour jeans, big sunglasses, let your imagination run wild and free. Wear bold printed tees with cartoons on and clash them with your shorts.
RUMOURS have it that macs are back in fashion. Make sure you take one of our waterproof macs this festival season, because if you get all muddy and wet on your first night, your mother isn’t going to come clean you up. If she did, that’d just be embarrassing.
